Fostering Hope morning teas & family get togethers

Fostering Hope hosts regular morning teas for carers in Hobart and Launceston. These are great opportunities for fellowship, support, and prayer. If you would like to come along visit our calendar or get in touch below.

Support Group

Fostering Hope Chaplain

The Chaplain provides pastoral support for foster and kinship carers. This includes emotional, practical and spiritual support.

Buddies for new Carers

Stepping into the role of a foster or kinship carer is unique and brings its own challenges and joys. Often it is only other carers who can understand the journey. Fostering Hope provides a buddy program for all new carers. We have a pool of experienced foster and kinship carers willing to buddy with a new carer for their first 12 months to provide friendship, mentoring and support.

If you would like to be a buddy for a new carer, or you are a new carer looking for a buddy, we'd love to hear from you
